Hanging Wall Cabinet
Start with the corner cabinet and measure up from the line you drew to the height of the cabinet.
Hanging wall cabinet. Label the location of the kitchen wall cabinets and appliances on the wall. Set the cabinet jack height with a small cabinet first. Using the outline you created on the wall measure the distance from the cabinet edge to the stud and transfer this to the cabinet.
Remember to account for the face frame. A few tricks here. Begin your installation with a corner cabinet or from the far left if you don t have a corner unit.
Finally mark the stud locations. Most cabinet jacks work by letting you set the height of the upper cabinet lifting the cabinet in place doing final adjustments and screwing the cabinets together and to the wall. For this reason it is imperative to hang wall cabinets correctly using builder standard methods.

Drill the holes in the upper and lower hanging rails of the cabinets the two horizontal pieces of lumber along the top and bottom of the back of the cabinet. Wall cabinets are generally very heavy and additionally they often support a lot of weight. Next outline where the first cabinet will hang.
